Dictionaries, Encyclopedias and Anthologies about Buddhism
Bibliographies
Buddhism - Oxford Bibliographies
245+ topics in Buddhism/Buddhist Studies with write-ups and bibliographies. An excellent starting point.
Dr. Vesely-Flad has a bibliography of writings from Black Buddhist teachers on her website, here. Some academic articles are listed at the end.
Anthologies of Buddhist Sources (mostly primary)
There are of course many anthologies by tradition (Theravada, Mahayana, Vajrayana, Pureland, Zen, Chan, Tibetan, etc.). The ones above are generalist.
Multilingual Digital version of the Pali Canon (early Buddhism)
(Excellent tool run by a group of progressive Theravada monks in Australia. Can take time to learn to search suttas. There is also a good discussion board where you can ask questions).
Popular Buddhist magazines
Lion’s Roar & Buddhadharma
This is the digital hub of two magazines: Lion’s Roar (formerly Shambhala Sun) and Buddhadharma. The first is a more “popular” publication, and the second is known as “the Practitioner's Quarterly.” Both include articles by practitioners, Buddhist teachers and occasionally by scholars of Buddhist Studies writing in a way that is accessible to a wider audience. Sadly, not available by Clio, and you may hit a paywall after a certain number of articles.
This resource has video talks, a film club, and a podcast, as well as the magazine. Includes articles by practitioners, Buddhist teachers and occasionally by scholars of Buddhist Studies. Sadly, not available by Clio, and you may hit a paywall after a certain number of articles.
Sadly no longer running, but searchable archive on-line. Tackles hard topics. Free.
Barre Center for Buddhist Studies has an online journal, sadly only searchable by author and issue. Also lots of free resources on their site. Very progressive programming.

Buddhist Studies Podcasts (selection)
New podcast so not a big archive, but very balanced and has excellent interviews.
Interviews with authors about their books. Vast archive.
From the University of Toronto Center for Buddhist Studies.
A bit snarky but good interviews with major scholars on various topics
Wisdom Publishing’s podcast
